Still 29% of workforce logs in from remote locations. Security gaps are visible from space!
With so many messages, emails and digital forms of communications we are also exposed to threats like identity theft, imposters or hacking.
In the UK, four in ten businesses (39%) and quarter of charities (26%) have been hacked in 2021. But it’s not distributed evenly. Almost two third (64%) of large businesses and 51% of big charities were attacked last year.
Among other problems, including high middle management burnout rate , we are also experiencing security issues while working remotely.
It’s one of the reasons why market for remote positions dries up despite the fact it’s in high demand among jobseekers. According to Washington Post, 50% of workforce on LinkedIn is looking for remote positions while only 15% of companies are willing to hire remote staff.
The trend to hire remote is slowing down after peaking in March this year (21%).
