Android and iPhone Saving Your Data?

gif

We are not Android fanboys to any degree.

We feel a genuine concern over the fact that Apple devices share the “keyCode” of every pressed key in a browser. It makes stealing your information very easy for all scripts and extensions.

Keyloggers can come as a malicious code on the website’s plugins or 3rd party plugins (like analytics). Webmasters can’t always prevent that and they definitely don’t control what’s in 3rd party plugins code.

It’s concerning if we take into account how many websites have 3rd party plugins on payments websites where we share our personal data.

If we look beyond mobile devices also all desktop browsers have extensions problems. Either the one blocking ads or helping with cookies – they all can see your every keystroke when you type passwords or private informations.

Test for yourself!
Here you can see for yourself how visible your keystrokes (keys you press) are for javascript codes. https://lnkd.in/e2p4QniE
